We offer 2 different series of Black Pearl Cast Nets, all of which are made with the same integrity as the next, the only difference between each series of cast net is the pounds of lead weight used per ft. Being able to offer 2 different weight choices for fishermen is a real advantage, this will enable each fisherman to throw a professional grade cast net for the perfect cast net throwing application that he or she may choose.
Gold Series Cast Nets - This series of cast nets are weighted at 1.6 lb per ft. and should be used in deeper water applications where the larger and faster species of live bait school up. It's heavier marble lead design seperates itself in another league of its own because of its super fast sink rate when cast netting those hard to catch live baits when needed the most. Whether you're a goof off fisherman to a serious tournament fisherman, having the extra edge by having a well performing and fast sinking cast net can be the difference in a good days fishing to an extrordinary day of fishing. This Gold Series features the same qualities as the Silver Series cast net except for the extra weight which gives this net that leading edge in cast netting performance.
Gold Series X-TREME Cast Nets - This series is used for deeper water applications at a much heavier 1.9 lb per ft., designed for the larger, super fast species of live bait fish and for the much more experienced cast net thrower. This cast net was designed with the main focus to catch saltwater species such as threadfin herring, large ballyhoo and the larger size finger mullet. The freshwater species would include bunker, shad and perch. This X-TREME series cast net features the same qualities as both the Silver and Gold Series cast nets except for its heavier weight. Sold only in the 11 Ft 5/8" size.
We hope that you find all of the information on cast nets very useful and you start throwing Black Pearl Cast Nets very soon!
